Content Manager Error Message

Recommended Posts

I am using the current version of MSFS under

W-10 on a gaming computer...lately, when I go to

launch an  add-on Bush Flight (or sometimes A MS

Bush Flight) I get an error message directing me to the

Content Manager for missing content ...when I go to

the CM, there is no missing content...

Anyone know what this problem is or how to fix this problem?...

Any help appreciated...

Thanks, John H.

Content Manager bush flights (and lessons, and challenges) assume that the assets they require are the default assets (mainly the airplanes). If you have something in your Community folder that modifies any of those assets, you will get that error message.

Try removing everything from your Community folder to use those Content Manager add on items.

If you are not already, I highly recommend using the excellent Addons Linker (https://flightsim.to/file/1572/msfs-addons-linker) to manage your Community folder. Makes it very easy and quick to add and remove items from your Community folder.

Hi Jim...thanks for the prompt reply...and I

do use and rely on Addon-Linker. (AOL)... a must-have

app...I need to think a bit about how to use your

information...first, I could just delete tthe Add-ON

Bush trip that causes the error message...second, if
just had to use that Bust Trip, etc. I could use AOL and

disable all my Community folder and run it...Third, I guess
I could trouble-shoot what is causing the Bush Trip to

get the error message and just disable ithat add-on...

do you see any other alternative avenues of approach?...

Thanks for all your help...John H....

It’s usually the aircraft you are using. Just make sure the aircraft you are using for the flight is the Asobo/MS stock one with no mods. That message is not unique and if you try to do just about any of the challenges etc and the aircraft you need to use has been modded, you will be taken to the Content Manager.
