March 8, 20215 yr Don't know if this is because of bad Nav/airport data, but today I landed on Runway 5 in EHGG (according to flight plan, and cleared by ATC), and was told after touchdown that I might have landed on the wrong runway. I was definitely on RWY 05 (there is only 05/23 at this airport) 😉 Here's the ATC transcript: CJ One Niner Charlie Whinds are light and variable Cleared to Land Runway Zero Five ~Cleared to land runway Zero Five CJ One Niner Charlie  Cleared to Land Runway Zero Five CJ One Niner Charlie; CJ One Niner Charlie exit runway when able. Be advised you may have landed on the wrong runway. Might have just been a glitch, but I thought I'd report it.  Thanks! Dirk Â
March 8, 20215 yr Commercial Member Hi Dirk. I suspect the runway position data is not matching the SIM visuals close enough. You can check in TaxiMnt to see what the runway data looks like vs the Satellite real world view. Checking the default data in TaxiMnt, the end of runway 5 according to the data is about 2000' down the real runway, so that explains the problem. March 9, 20215 yr Author Hi Dave, sorry I haven't used TaxiMnt before so I'm not entirely sure how to relate its data with the P2A map or MSFS Sim view, and can't really tell that it's runway 5 is 2000' down... Here are screenshots of where MSFS and the P2A map show me at the same time, seems to be in sync to me. Though as I said, how this relates to what's shown in TaxiMnt I don't know... Â Â Â I'm just curious how I can detect that there's a mismatch between the Sim visuals and the P2A data... Â Thanks, Dirk
March 10, 20215 yr Commercial Member On the TaxiMnt screen, press the Show Taxiways button. The red lines are the runways. You'll see that RW05 starts at the last taxiway entry to the runway instead of the runway end. Dave
