I don't have the JF Arrow myself (yet! ) but look for a little latch at the bottom of the lever. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). March 12, 20215 yr Handy with keyboard mixture, it is very easy to kill your engine with full lean mid flight normally.

I know it needs a few little tweaks, but I think they have put a lot of thought into this plane. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). March 12, 20215 yr Friction locks are often an 'option' on aeroplanes, so being an option, sometimes they don't have them, not least because the entire throttle quadrant design was changed on the PA-28, with the early ones using pushrod levers for the throttle, prop and mixture controls and later ones having the quadrant as you see in this JF Arrow and the Carenado one too. Nevertheless, it is one of the pre take off checks for the PA-28 in the manual (i.e. the manual for the real aeroplane) to check the quadrant friction lock.
