After years of using commercial AI traffic programs, I just installed a few hundred AIG packages 😉 Since I'm very new to AIG, I have a few questions I'd like to ask my fellow avsimmers, rather than going to another forum.

1) I feel like AIG is using the wrong runway much more frequently, is there something I can do about it other than turning traffic off/then on (not sure this helps)?

2) I'd like to send aircraft to ZBAD (Bridge Beijing Airport), is there a somewhat easy way of doing this?

3) Is there any other program recommenced for better spacing/go-around avoidance?

4) I'm using FSUIPC to control some of the traffic, but maybe I shouldn't change any of those settings?

AIG looks absolutely stunning, and I'm in love with it. Any help would be appreciated.

1. & 3. Take a look Frederico's (@fs1) airport traffic controller. It's being continually updated with new features, it controls the runway usage and AI separation, among other things.

2. Yes, there is an AI Flight Planner v3. Use it to switch airports and all manner of useful pre-flight sim load management of AI traffic.

4. Personally, I prefer 'AI Companion' by user Koala. It's a freeware utility that you can find here:

It's a strong tool that can granularly limit AI aircraft. 
Combined with AI zapper function in FSUIPC, I rarely suffer intransigent AI messing with my takeoffs or approaches.

AIG, UT2, UTL, TG, etc just add traffic to the sim. They don't have any say in runway selection, that is all handled by the AI engine of the sim itself.

 As for using ZBAD over ZBAA for those airlines that use it (mostly still just some of the SkyTeam airlines that use it), AI Manager I believe will compile traffic to the correct airport if it detects that you have ZBAD.
