I did a search but couldn't find anything. Is there any way to limit TrackIR to control only VC viewpoint? I hate using it to control the spot views!

I assigned joystick buttons to control the on/off, fine control and center functions. It give me the control I want when switching views etc.Bob...

Currently the only way I know to do it, is "pause" the TrackIR software.

It doesn't control my Spot views....

Can't you guys update the driver so that it behaves like it did in FS9, or at least an option to do so. I love switching views all over the place and I really don't want TrackIR to control anything other than the VC viewpoint. Having to pause TrackIR makes it a two step process, and detracts from the overall TrackIR experience.Gary

This subject came up when FSX was first released. I asked then if anyone prefers the new system (TIR for everything) and don't think anyone said, "I do."Could be a localization issue: with FS9, TIR looked for the text "VIRTUAL COCKPIT" to know when it was supposed to kick in; presumably the text is different for every language. I don't know how many languages FSX is available in, but it's a bunch.

It is an issue within FSX, and how it controls the view. It isn't something that we can "mode" or patch to from our end of the API.
