It almost looks like you have super-high bloom settings - have you checked your HDR settings for brightness, contract, saturation etc? Is auto-exposure on?

To me it looks like the brightest parts of the screen have exceeded the ability of your display to display any difference, so you get ultra-white blobs.

I don't think so.  ASCA uses the 2D clouds and should not affect EA mode.  "Should not" isn't definitive though, you may want to ask the HiFi team.

I'd agree it almost looks like some HDR or bloom setting doing that.  Maybe try the same scene but different time of day (use time preview) and see if that changes it.

You could also play with OS settings for gamma and brightness and so forth.

If I recall correct it is the content. But try both....cost you 5 minutes or 10 in total.

Just to be clear: You´ve said you have no shader mods.....so you also have no envshade installed right? Did you have envshade prior installed and uninstalled it?

I have seen similar effects on my projectors but it's always been down to the projector settings - once I turned down the brightness or fixed the contrast, clouds went back to normal. It may be a dumb question but have you tried fiddling with your monitor settings? I am clutching at straws a bit here, though.

Otherwise we may regrettably be in 're-install everything' territory.

I'd start with re-installing P3D first... I'd imagine if it were a Windows problem you'd see issues in other DirectX apps. Do you?

No issues with other apps I am running v4 on another ssd along side, thou I did just reinstall v5.1 hf1 same issue persists.

no graphical anomalies with v4 and asca.

just scaling is off with red text bar overlapping menu when alt enter.

I might try a different HDMI port later tonight and check.
