CRJ Sensitivity Settings and one question

Featured Replies

Can anyone let me know what sensitivity settings are recommended for the CRJ's?  I've only done 2 flights so far but find that it is way too sensitive or "bouncy".  I've seen this on videos as well.  In my flights my balance and loading was correct.

Also, I've noticed that every time I am on the ground if I hit ESC and go to change a setting or go to my controls page, when I get back in the cockpit it shuts down and goes back to a cold and dark state or a on battery state.  I haven't look through the listed bugs but is this known and happening for anyone else?

I use -60% on elevator axis and -30% for aileron but I am using a Honeycomb yoke.  Each controller will be a bit different but I always find the elevator sensitivity needs to be turned down much further than ailerons on all aircraft I have tried.

I do not have the issue with the ESC button as I have used it quite a bit on my recent flights.  I do recall hearing about this issue in the past and it was due to an unused assignment with the mixture setting if I remember correctly. Make sure you don't have mixture assigned to your controllers....you don't need it for the CRJ.

I have -75% sensitivity and a reactivity of 60%, but it still nervous during slow input
