April 9, 20215 yr Suppose I download an aircraft that is a cargo aircraft, say UPS, or FedEx, either flyable or AI. A lot of my airports have designated cargo ramps. How would I edit the aircraft.cfg to make ATC assign to park on the cargo ramp instead of a gate? Thanks
April 9, 20215 yr Administrators You could try: atc_parking_types=RAMP atc_parking_code=UPS No guarantee it will find the Cargo Ramp. Try atc_parking_types=CARGO atc_parking_code=UPS . . . and then it should find it. You can specify: GATE CARGO RAMP MIL_CARGO MIL_COMBAT or even multiples, which will be used in order of availability, e.g.: atc_parking_types=CARGO,RAMP,MIL_CARGO,MIL_COMBAT John My co-pilot's name is Sid and he's a star! http://www.adventure-unlimited.org

April 10, 20215 yr Author Thanks guys. I'm not 100% happy with my UTL purchase. But it's okay. I just want to eventually replace the fictional carriers with real world liveries and Im content with the FSX default AI handling. I don't have to have real world schedules or plans. And as I only have about two hours a week to enjoy simming I prefer to fly, not set up. So, I don't have time for AIG, WOAI, etc. For me reskinning and configuring the defaults is easiest to boast default AI and won't conflict UTL.
