a pattern flight over Leros, Greece

Featured Replies

Leros is a small island off the Turkish coast, rendered beautifully in MFS. The runway is short,  some 1000 m long, and hemmed in by hills. Fun to fly.

You'd better do a right downwind as there are wind turbines on the left

A double S tight turn over the villages to lower the speed under 160 mph

and lower the gear

Thanks. MFS does justice to Greece and her islands more than any sim before IMO, at least where I have flown over. And MFS, in spite of its shortcomings, can be really gratifying for  a flyer like me.

The water looks light years beyond anything that I have seen in P3D. These are only static screenshots, but the animated water in that video of the freeware Isle of Man airport looked very good indeed.

Great shots... I'll need to head over there and try out that tricky airfield!

The water can be superb as seen from low altitude. Less so at higher altitude where the lack of texture makes it too uniform.

I have the water textures disabled in P3D, because (IMO) it looks better!
