,,,when it come to HDD space. A couple of my drives are running short on space so I thought do a little house cleaning. I was really surprised when I added up all my flight-sim addons. They came to 2.21TB...253,433 files spread across 6689 folders. Lots of years and lots of dollars there. I guess the time has come to dump some of this stuff. But it's kind of like saying goodbye to old friends. Sigh...

I came to a similar conclusion about freeing up space..... But what I did instead is grab some room on Onedrive and transfer everything over to there.

That way, I always know all that accumulated history is still available if I ever need it for some reason, and I get back some needed physical drive space.

Plus, if I get hit by a bus, or something, I'm sure Microsoft will happily delete it all when my subscription expires, which fits with my vague desires to leave behind a clean slate.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Thanks for jogging an old man's memory. I've got an external drive that I no longer use. I'll just dump all the "old stuff" onto that. Problem solved........
