April 20, 20215 yr Into HSSS *Requests Enroute Descent*  "Descend and Maintain 1,300 ft"  *Checks Airport Elevation*  1,255 ft.......  Well, that's not happening !!  🤣 Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
April 21, 20215 yr Commercial Member That does sound a bit low. Could you please email the P2A log file for that flight to [email protected]. If you don't have the log file, but do have the flight plan you were on, that would be good enough. I need to know what approach, cruise altitude etc. were in the plan to try and see what happened. April 21, 20215 yr Author  Have sent you the log file, but after the next flight I have a theory as to what might of happened, but can't explain the "why" of it. Flightplan was as follows: HESN N0432F410 ULOLA SML DOG MRW KUVTI HSSS No procedures listed in aircraft OR P2A - which seemed odd, then when I was ready to copy for the next flight from HSSS I got this::: "Two Tango Alpha It appears your flight plan does not originate at this airport.  Please correct and refile your plan." Look at map it 100% clearly originates at the airport where I am, so go to check frequency and see HSSS & HSSK have the same tower frequency. Look in LNM - HSSK doesn't exist. Look in Navigraph - HSSK is where HSSS should be. Both seem to exist in P2A, I assume HSSS from the SIM and HSSK from Navigraph. Can't say I'm sure that's what caused it or not but did cause issues.......  ..... on a completely different note - I have notice that RANDOM voices seems broken (I always seem to get the same voice) - although if I assign voices manually it switches absolutely fine.  Regards  G  Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
April 21, 20215 yr Commercial Member Thanks for the log file. I did find a bug that caused the "impact the ground" altitude assignment. It will be fixed in the next update. It likely happened because the filed flight plan did not have an approach at the destination, or any procedures for that matter. I don't know where the N0432F410 came from, but that may have messed up the plan. The "your flight plan doesn't originate at your location..." type message happens when the first identifier in your plan is not the same as the nearest airport identifier. The identifier may have changed in the latest AIRAC cycle and has not been updated in the SIM OR, P2A combines some older data for airports missing in the AIRAC data and probably had the HSSS airport, as did the SIM. There are a few rare places on the planet where 2 airports are so close together that you will be closer to the "other" airport than to your departure airport if you are in a remote parking spot. I have seen these where a water based airport is right near a land based airport. On the voices question, if you have very few voices, then the random voices will seem to repeat. Or if you get to the end of the voice list, the entire list is reloaded and it's possible the next random voice is the same as the last voice used from the old list. April 21, 20215 yr Author Thanks for that, flight was actually imported from LNM which puts that at the start of it. Will try and remember to remove it in future !!  I have about 20 voices installed and I'm pretty sure it just goes back to the co-pilot voice if left on random, which isn't in the random pool.... Got it working fine in manual mode though so all good, just thought i'd let you know...  Cheers  G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
