April 28, 20215 yr As I have 2x 4K in NVSURROUND I cannot use 30 or 60 inside MSFS as it results in 15. April 28, 20215 yr Just to share, (RTX 3070 + AMD Ryzen 5600X + 32 GB @3200 Mhz Gskill) with current version of MSFS on 4K 60 Hz 32'' Vievsonic monitor - Vsync Fast via Nvdia CP and 1/2 refresh rate by RTSS gives the best result for me. (In game Vsync OFF) *Limiting FPS to 30 by RTSS causes some stutter but 1/2 refresh rate is much better than this for me. Kind regards Faruk IŞIK
April 28, 20215 yr For what it might be worth, I'm using RTSS to impose a 30 fps limit at half the refresh rate of my 60 Hz HD monitor. With no fps limit, my GTX 1080 GPU card is running at 99%, and my frame rate is in the low 30s on medium or optimized settings, but the 1% fps is in the teens. With limiting, the 1% fps is in the mid 20s, and the GPU runs at 70%+-. Much easier on my ears with regard to fan noise.
