UGCX using stock airport scenery.

Featured Replies

Newly installed P3D v. 5 with omdb addon scenery that is for Prepar 3D v5.  UGCX does not recognize the parking spaces to do the pushback as it is still using the stock airport.  I have the log as follows.

Creating and executing the WORKER thread...
        Starting the WORKER thread...
Loading and updating the scenery cache's data...

        Loading process has been COMPLETED!

I would like to use the properly installed scenery with UGCX.  Would like some input as to how to make this happen.

I have a Windows 10 64 bit home platform.  The scenery is installed in the Addon scenery folder in the documents section of my computer and is activated in the scenery library.  Prepar 3D v5.   Hope somebody can shed some light on this situation.  As you can see in the underlined bold above in the log file, UGCX gets the scenery from the stock airport.

Thanks,

Jonnieflight

Are you using the 2.3 beta?

Have you tried the "Exclude" option?

Since I could not find anything in your 14 manuals about how to exclude I went ahead and tried excluding "omdb"  Now the pushback has completely excluded omdb.  Now I do not know how to unexclude omdb.  Could you please tell me which page of your 14 manuals I can find information on how to not only get pushback to work in omdb addon scenery, but also how to unexclude omdb.

Send me a support ticket via www.fs2crew.com

I'll send you the V2.3 beta.

That'll be easier than trying to unexclude OMDB and v2.3 updates the airport detection and reading functionality.  Maybe that'll help you with Dubai.

Ok, I sent you the support ticket just now.  It is # 5705.

Thanks,

Thanks, I just sent you the V2.3 public beta... maybe it'll help identify your freeware Dubai scenery.

Cheers.

Thanks for the V2.3 beta.  I uninstalled the 2.0 and installed the 2.3.  At least now the UGCX recognizes omdb but still uses the stock scenery.  I do think the problem is with the freeware addon scenery is  not configured properly to Prepar 3d v5.  So, I will uninstall that scenery and try just an ADE file for the default.
