Fs 2020 and Windows 10 21H1 like with 20 H2

Featured Replies

Hello,

Updated Windows 10 today (version 21H1)
No difference using Fs2020, I keep W10 21H1

I found that after I installed the latest windows update, MSFS would flicker like crazy, uninstalled it, and no issues....

No issues here either. Have never really had any perceptible differences from changes to the OS or nVidia drivers.

Same here.  Never really see a detectable difference unless the drivers have a specific issue with them.

There are also new nVidia drivers out...

Driver Version:466.47 - WHQL
Release Date:Tue May 18, 2021

Someone said they were 'smoother', but I never expect anything, and never really see it.  I think some people maybe get a bit of a change out of refereshing the driver, that's all.

The best I had was when Asobo changed the way the screen refreshed a few updates ago - I could definitely see the difference in smootherness then.  Apparently, it smoothed out the frame pacing, whatever that is!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
