GTN Force menu to display?

I'm having trouble getting the config options to display (usually SHIFT+ Right Click), in order to set üse default gps options for it to work with my realsimgear device. Is there a way to get the menue to show? Every time I hover over the gauge in the VC and press shift, it turns to a gloved pointer and does nothing.

In some cases the aircraft's panel blocks the operation.  Use the popup gauge instead and see if that allows access.

Hi, can you confirm you're also SHIFT+right click only on the top edge of the GTN screen only (if displaying inside a 3D bezel in the VC) or on the top edge of the GTN bezel (in a popup)?
