May 25, 20215 yr I read this with great interest as it had been such a disappointment for me since original launch: New AIRAC cycle 2105 has been implemented FAA data has been implemented to our navdata solution So after updating I checked four airports I am familiar with where published approach procedures were absent, or where transitions were missing. KUMP, KBKL, KOJC, and KBUF. Here is a look at RNAV 23Y at KBUF. These transitions were not previously available. It even appears that it may provide for a procedure turn at TRAVA, though the flight plan screen in the G1000 lacks the detail to confirm that. Then I checked current weather via ATIS at all four airports plus a couple near me here on the east coast and found close matches. That also seems a considerable improvement considering the 1,500+ geographical differences. Cloud layers reported by ATIS are still screwed up however, with scattered layers reported at levels not reflected in any metars over the previous 24 hours. Anyway, some light at the end of a couple of the tunnels. May 25, 20215 yr Author Appears I spoke too early about weather. Everywhere I looked at today, from Kansas City, to St Louis, to South Central Indiana, to here in Easton, Maryland, I was confronted with thunderstorms and heavy overcasts. Here in Easton the skies are clear and no TRWs anywhere close. KOJC and KBMG have not reported any TRWs today, though some widely scattered showers have been near both areas. Did you happen to look after 20z? Because the long standing bug that loads in future weather at that time is still present. Between 20z and 08z the weather is ahead 24 hours.

X-Plane also has the ability to optionally use the FAA database for US airports. Jim BarrettLicensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Avionics, Electrical & Air Data Systems Specialist. That's as bad as the 24 hour flu. I revert to REX Beta! Actually, I most often revert to Active Sky 16, if you catch my wind... Default FSX weather was better than this from 2006 through 2011 or 12.
