Reality GTN 750

Without indication, my ILS approaches are not capturing the localizers or glideslopes at any airport.  The flights break track from the gps guidance when either auto or manual select transitions occur, then wander off on tangents away from the intended track.  I believe my settings are correct in every detail:  x-plane data refs output, gtn settings, etc.  i captured video of this and can provide it to help troubleshoot the issue.  It worked fine until a few days ago.

Are you switching the GTN to VLOC mode?

Does the HSI show the needle deflections?

What mode is the autopilot in?

It’s a KFC 225 native to the Carrenado T210M, and the GTN is set for auto tune to the selected ILS frequencies on all approaches.  My email address is [email protected].  It’s worked well since installing the gtn in 2019.  I can share a video capture from that email.

First and foremost welcome to Avsim.  This is a great place where many of us like you share knowledge and experience.  I believe your post is perhaps a bit confusing or incomplete.  When you say its worked well since installing in 2019, are you referring to the GTN in several aircraft?  or to the GTN in the 210?  What do you refer to when you say "autotune"?

The GTN has settings that vary from aircraft to aircraft. Not all simulator aircraft develpers write to the same standard, and there can even be some differences from one model to another from the same developer.  What settings do you have set in the GTN's Configurator for the 210?  It is in the configurator that you may need to make some selections.  The Configurator is described in the RXP GTN User Manual (Windows Start menu, R, Reality XP, User Manual.  If you also have the RXP GNS avionics you may see two User Manuals, one for each.

The settings I have for the GTN are what I want to share in a video for feedback of what I might have set incorrectly.  I believe they are the same settings that I originally selected in 2019 when I installed the GTN 750 in the panel of my Carrenado T210M.  It only started wandering off course at the feather for the ILSs last week.  I’ve tried cycling a few selections in the settings menu of the Reality product, with no success.  There are also no updates for the 750.  I also have a Real Sim Gear GTN 750/650 in my panel.
