Moving aircraft from FS9 to FSX question

Featured Replies

SomeFS9 aircraft don't show up in FSX.I think there is a parameter in the 'aircraft.cfg' file missing?Any ideas?

McCrash, you might be right. I'd be looking at an FS9 aircraft.cfg that DOES show up and compare it to those that don't show up. And the one(s) not showing up: are they DESIGNED for FS9 or from earlier sims that maybe can't show up anymore?Generalized questions without specifics are much harder to find an answer to...Give us the specifics of a couple that don't show up. Maybe somebody already knows they don't work or that they do for sure.I haven't brought too many over yet, but I haven't run into any that wouldn't show up at all.Loyd

Grumman tomcat does NOT show up in fsx, tried varios things but no luck.regards Pieter from Antwerp

I beleave the planes from fs9 have to be actual fs9 planes. I do know that planes that use fs98 gauges will not work. keith
