Make sure you are on the latest release of Pilot2ATC as there used to be a problem like you describe.

It was actually a mis-labelling problem that made it appear that you should set the PTT button on the Speech tab of Config.  The PTT button is set on the Btns tab of Config.

The setting on the Speech tab for the Copilot is for setting a button or hot key to toggle the "Responds to Radio" on/off.

I Want my copilot to change frequencies. Now on read back lets say ready to copy IFR I want to say that

but if i don't want to say it I push my hot key & copilot says it is this wright so i need both ticked

On the Btns tab of Config, there is a setting for the SayIt button or hot key.  When you press that, the copilot will say the phrase in gold in the text window.

So, if I'm understanding what you want, you should set a SayIt button or key on the Btns tab to be able to have the copilot say the readbacks when you decide not to.  You should also check the "Copilot Changes Frequencies" button and uncheck the "Copilot Responds to Radio" option on the Speech tab.

It is actually a matter of the application having focus or not.

At the bottom of the Btns tab of config, you can uncheck the "Require P2A or SIM focus" option and then no matter what app has focus, the hot key will cause the action.  If you do uncheck the option, be sure it's a unique key so you don't trigger the action when typing in an app, for example.
