With FSX running, when you are at an airport in an airplane you can enter the FSX menus Options, Weather. You will find options you may set for various weather conditions. You can even make settings for your own custom weather. Take note however the Live Weather options there no longer work. Microsoft discontinued live weather options a number of years ago. If you would like to have live weather there are aftermarket products you can purchase and install that produce that for you. HiFi Simulations offers Active Sky 16; Real Environment Extreme (REX) offers REX Sky Force; and another option out there is a product/service called FS Global Real Weather (FSGRW). All three provide live weather injected into FSX, FSX SE, and P3D. June 25, 20214 yr Yet another live weather injector is FSXWX, which is free but may be a bit complicated to install as it does not have an installer but must be installed manually.
