CRJ Aerosoft flo's

Featured Replies

Can someone confirm that if I ask for "originating flo" the co-pilot is meant to press the switches etc, I have watched the David Herky videos which inspired me to reinstall MCE now that I have returned to microsoft flight simulator after a few years with x plane, but the co-pilot only reads the flo's no switches are pressed or am I doing something wrong. I have the CRJ as default loading aircraft and have even tried restarting the sim but no joy. I'M thinking I maybe have to download the flo's from somewhere but that search has drawn a blank.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Stuart, don't think that's the problem I'm having, the crj is recognised, the co pilot just won't move any switches. I was wondering if he is meant to move them or do i move them after he says them, ie "recirc on" the switch doesn't move, am I meant to switch it on our does mce do it.

hmm. i wonder if  it's the wasm module missing?

when you install MCE, there'll be a wasm module folder added in your community folder.

make sure it is there; make sure you have not  replaced it or uninstalled fsuipc; since it tends to remove that folder.

Also do make sure that when  you load flight simulator, load the crj and don't load fbw a32nx. if you intend to fly with  any of them,  quit fs and re launch it and run the other plane; do not switch them.

edit: the module folder is named: "fsuipc-lvar-module"

If your flows are being read and switches are not being  pressed/activated, it means that mce is unable to work them. If the module is there and you have not loaded fbw a32nx before crj, then  they should work. Hopefully others can help you out as i have no further ideas

I might have found the reason, I had fsuipc set to start automatically when msfs starts, I don't think it has been. Just starting up again to check. Thanks for your help.

No, that didn't change anything.Still not working. I'm going to uninstall mce and download again and start from scratch. Fingers crossed, I've wasted so much time on this.

Make sure you install the latest MCE version

Please read the "using MCE with MSFS 2020" pdf document.

For all complex planes with lots of Lvars like CRJ and FlyBywire, your favorite plane must ne set as the one MSFS loads on startup.

Regarding flows in MSFS....

They are installed  to \My Documents\Multi Crew Experience\Myvoicescripts\copilot\Aircraft\ folder when you run "InstallMCE"

Those for CRj will go to <Aerosoft CRJ> folder and will appear when you run MCE with that plane loaded.

If they aren't automatically copied, then it's more than likely because you did override <My Documents> folders permissions sometime in the past, causing the operation to fail.

You could manually copy and paste the folder by finding them in downloaded unzipped file undser

\Resources\Files\Voicescripts\Copilot\Aircraft folder

Thanks Gerald, I've read the manual until I'm blue on the face.I've also just sent a message to you in support, I can't activate it now I've reinstalled. I'll have a search on the folders you mention. Thanks.

It's now working as it's meant to. I reinstalled outside the default program files. The mysterious not registering and giving a hardware id as if it was x plane version although it started searching for fsx, prep3d std is solved and now registered. Thank you for your assistance, it must drive you mad having to deal with idiots like moi.
