June 27, 20214 yr Hello, are there any MSFS bush or general VFR groups around that don't use Discord but instead just rely on a website, teamspeak or other platforms?. Not looking for a VA just casual flying with like minded Puddle jumpers.
June 27, 20214 yr I am interested in this as well, as MSFS is just perfect for this kind of thing, especially with the modified bush Cessna's (Bagolu's) and Cubs, (Grravel etc.) over at flightsim.to. I also just found this, which looks interesting. There is also bushtalk radio which sounds interesting as well. https://flightsim.to/file/16963/the-gotgravel-stol-academy-at-squamish-bc-cyse Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
June 28, 20214 yr Author Not sure you've understood, That link is just scenery. I was looking for groups that fly Bush style but don't rely on Discord for comms (as in initial post above)

It just makes things so much easier for communication

It just makes things so much easier for communication Discord occasionally has issues and is about to be bought out by Microsoft which will probably make it worse 😄 In one game I play where we use Discord a few people actually have to use the Discord on a tablet as if they run it on the same PC as their game it causes all sorts of issues. I use Teams, Discord and TeamSpeak daily and of the three TeamSpeak seems the most reliable and Discord, whilst it works OK most of the time, is the least. July 16, 20214 yr Pathfinder, https://return.mistymoorings.com/ Bush flying is largely about solitude. I get it. I'm not a fan of people talking to me while I'm trying to make a short field landing, either. There's a community of sim pilots at RTMM who appreciate that kind of flying. The bulk of the staff's effort is on flight planning and scenery creation. The forum is about helping each other enjoy the sim. I invite you to check it out.
