5.2 and Road Traffic

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Strange one, only have road traffic in third party addons. Say, Orbx England,Wales, Scotland,  also close to third party airports etc. but move away from these and nothing !

Now, while I say nothing, if I enable Orbx Vectors I have road traffic everywhere so it seems to me that the native road vectors in V5.2 are somewhat awry .

Maybe I'm miles off but has anybody else experienced this ?

Yes, I have found the same. No, or very little road traffic with no Vector. With Vector installed the road traffic is as you would expect.

AMD Ryzen 5900X - Asus Crosshair VI Hero - G.Skill 32GB (2x16GB) 3000 C14 DDR4 @ 3600 14-14-15-14-28-42

AMD Red Devil Radeon 6900XT  2700/2112 1125mv - 3 x Iiyama G-Master GB2888UHSU 4k @ 11560x2160

Saitek X-55 Rhino - Track IR5 - Obutto Sim Cockpit + Triple Monitor Stand - Fancy some Techno? https://www.mixcloud.com/dj_bully/

Exactly the same experience as you. What I would add, is to use global vector config tool to uncheck secondary roads traffic, if not, it will give (in my case) major stutters every second (p3d traffic on 10%).

So it appears unless we have ORBX Global vector active we will have no road traffic other than in third party 'Full Fat' areas.

Yet another thing broken in P3dV5.2 !!
