JF Arrow Brakes

Featured Replies

Hi. I have all Just Flight PA-28R Arrows. But normally fly the non Turbo. When I land and apply brakes, the Parking Brake comes on, although visually in cockpit it is still off. To release it, I have to reset parking brake normally and then release it again. Any Ideas

Thanks for your reply Bobsk8. The only assignment I have for parking brake is the one I've set for my Logitech X52. I have looked and there are no others anywhere ie Mouse Keyboards Yokes Pedals etc.

I read somewhere else that it might be because I use Rudder Pedals with toe brakes. After transfering the brakes to a joystick button, all is well. Unfortunately

I know you said you checked it, but I would carefully check the calibration on the rudder pedals toe brake portion. Something seems off with the symptom you are getting. What brand of pedals are you using?

Never had that with toe brakes, something is amiss in your settings.

Thanks for your help guys. I am using the Logitech Flight Rudder Pedals PZ35. ( Still known as Saitek ). As for calibration, are you refering to the Windows Control Panel calibration

I have the same rudder pedals and they should work fine. Start MSFS 2020, go to controls, at the top highlight Flight Rudder Pedals. You should see left brake axis and right brake axis. Joystick L axis X and Joystic L axis Y  Reverse axis box on the left should be selected ( white)  The bar scale should be blank and when you step on the left and right pedal you should see he white bar scale fill out to the right.

If you have that already, then something else must be applying your parking brake.
