June 30, 20214 yr Hi, I'm using MSFS. Is it currently possible to transmit on COM1, but simultaneously listen in on COM1 and COM2, for example to get the ATIS, without going off frequency? The only way I can listen in on COM2 is to click the COM2 button in P2A, or if I switch to COM2 in the cockpit. But then I only hear COM2 traffic. Am I missing something? If not, is that a feature that can be added in a future update, or is this currently not possible with the MSFS SDK?
June 30, 20214 yr Commercial Member P2A cannot enable monitoring of Com2 while on Com1 or vice-versa. So, as long as you are getting your ATIS from P2A, what you are trying to do is not possible. This ability is on the wish list for P2A but will require some additional capabilities. Dave
June 30, 20214 yr Author Ok, I see. So I could use MSFS for ATIS, but then I would also get the AI-ATC chatter. So I might have to pick my poison 🙂
