Kopenhagen was my very first payware airports and the only one I bought from the marketplace. It‘s usually up to the developer to mark an addon as compatible but I don‘t think Fly Tampa are in business anymore. So many of their sceneries are still waiting to get updates for 2024.

The flight model remains mostly unchanged. I have the feeling it’s even more twitch, unstable and unpredictable unfortunately. Together will all the bugs this is having right now I think I will shelve this and buy the caravan which is such a shame as I really love the looks of the kodiak and I don’t mind the G1000.

FlyTampa EHAM has all sorts of problems in 2024. Officially it is not compatible and probably never will be given how long it takes FlyTampa to make updates.

I might be wrong but isn‘t the E-Jets line like the CRJ where IRL the lights don‘t light up during daylight? There should be a setting in the EFB where you can force the lights to light up, even in daylight?

It’s funny that you’re saying this. Filbert himself said at one point that the reason he stopped doing the review videos was that they were far too time consuming to make and not profitable compared to his multiple hour streams. But I enjoyed them too.

Is the 2020 version working in 2024? I have quite a lot of their regional packs. I would be bummed if they are not going to work in 2024. I was thinking about finally letting 2020 go.

The walkaround does not work with Chaseplane. But that’s probably because A2A is using custom code which is non standard. So IMO it’s not P42 fault that the Comanche doesn’t play ball with Chaseplane. Can’t you just remove pitot cover, chocks … with the tablet? The plane should start normally once all the static elements are removed.

I think that’s the main issue with SI. It’s becomming so bloated, almost an enterely different product. And you either subscribe for all or for none. I subscribed for the core ATC features. I don’t care about checklists, cabin crew, tour guides, pushback and so on. I already have other products that can do that part better. i wish they would offer a base subscribtion and then a la carte upgrades for traffic, cabin crews, pushback, … So everyone could opt-in to exactly what he needs. But I guess there is more money to take in the current all or nothing model. I’m not going to renew my subscription though.

Manuals are in your Community folder in the sub folder of your Carenado plane. Just search for a .pdf file.

That’s exactly what I have tried to show you. So it is possible. The pilot view is just like any other view that can have multiple shortcuts.

If multiple views have the same shortcut, then pressing that shortcut will cycle through those views. The order they are cycled through depends on their position in the main view list, which can be altered by simply dragging a view up or down.

The 2020 marketplace version just has a copy/paste of the 2024’s description. Quite missleading…

I have both, the FSR500 and the piston duke. If I had to chose between the two, I’d pick the duke. It has so much more character. The 500 looks like one of the default Asobo planes, not bad but too shiny and a little bit like a toy. I did not get the turbine duke as I could not justify spending that much money.

It looks like the latest version broke the shortcuts system. None of my chaseplane shortcuts from my joystick are triggering. I have to rebind them one by one to make them work again. But after a while they stop working again. And sometimes the toolbar doesn't hide / gets transparent when it should. -Sigh- One step forward, two steps back...

You guys are optimistic. It will definitely be much more since it is not just a simple update but basically a complete overhaul. My guess is it will be at least in the $49-$59 range, so just $10-$15 off from the original’s price. What they could do to justify this price tag is to bundle all versions into a single package. And it plays into their cards that basically it will be the first entry of the 737 in 2024.

I have just upgraded to the latest version. Does anyone know how you can turn off those dots that turn into big grey overlays showing the names of the different views? This totally breaks immersion. I've never seen them in the past, now they are everywhere, even in the exterior view.

My FPS counter shows a 6-8 fps hit when enabling Chaseplane. Other users have reported that they lose around 10 fps. There is definitely an impact. But I have a beefy PC so I’m not really noticing it.

Does anyone get constant "something went wrong" messages that the Bridge module was not working? I barely managed to enter my activation code and order number. Now I am going through the tutorial but this windows keep popping up and I have to restart the tutorial. That's pretty frustrating and makes Chaseplane completely unusable for me. I already lost 2 hours messing with this.

The interface is really confusing. Half of the time I don't know what the program is doing or if it's doing something. For example, whenever I want to load one op Lupo's preset I do the following: click on Enviro Search for Lupo in the presets and select it This shows me the settings page and I guess it loaded the preset I do the same for I do the same steps for for example the Atmos category. However, when I want to return to the Enviro page, it doesn't show me the settings page. Instead it shows me the load preset page from the beginning. So the only way to tinker with the settings is to do it right at the moment you load the preset. Whenever you go into a different category, you'll have to re-load the preset in order to return to the settings. Or am I missing something? Also there is no way to load a preset do some edits and save it as your own? So confusing.

Is this addon using standard SDK or is it altering the memory? I think it’s the latter, isn’t it? There is almost no chatter in the official forums probably because this addon is blacklisted and the mods shut every discussion down. As long as this works, all is great. But I think people should know that there’s a high risk that sooner or later MS/Asobo finds a way to block this addon or renders it unusable because it goes agains it lisence.

Yes, you need the core SimFX addon. This is only an extension for it.

I tried realistic several times but every plane just feels like a paper plane. I now use low for all GA airplanes and medium for airliners and never looked back.

I don’t think you can do anything right now. The 737s have all kind of problems since SU15. All of them are random and don’t affect all people all the time. Apparently PMDG is working with Microsoft on a fix but no timetable on when to expect a fix. They are still investigating. We will have to sit tight and wait for an update. I guess they are busy with their 777. So I don’t expect anything fast.
