May 28, 20251 yr My most played aircraft has been the SWS Kodiak 100. For 2 years now. A few weeks before last XMAS holidays (2024), we were encouraged to expect the new MS2024 version in short time. I now have switched over to MS2024, while monitoring the progress, and lack thereof, of this elusive update. I have no reason to expect this to ever happen, but would relish the thought of being proved wrong. Look at the calendar. And look at all the new products being gushed about on their Discord site. I'm not a fan of internet "AI", but here's what 'they' say about my predicament regarding the Kodiak: "SimWorks Studios (SWS) may have recently paused updates to the Kodiak, potentially focusing on other projects or platform upgrades. They have stated they plan to release a Kodiak 100 update for FS2020 (SimWorks Studios - Facebook), but the focus is shifting to FS2024 upgrades for the Kodiak 100 and 900. While there has been a 3-month gap in updates, this does not necessarily mean they are finished with the Kodiak. SWS has mentioned they will continue bug fixing for the FS2020 Kodiak and are actively working on upgrades for the FS2024 platform," Tell me I'm wrong... May 28, 20251 yr I haven't flown it in ages, but pretty sure it works just fine in 2024? I can see it in my list of available planes, and people on the official forum say it's working fine. In fact there was what looked like a substantial patch back in late January for it. Are you running into specific issues with it?
May 28, 20251 yr I've been flying it in MSFS2024 for many months. Works perfectly. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
May 28, 20251 yr I agree, not sure what the OP is talking about. The Kodiak is operating fine for me in 2024. May 28, 20251 yr You can buy it in the MSFS 2024 Marketplace so I'd hope it works, of course it says 2020, maybe that's what the OP was thinking about. Does that mean anything beyond not being qualified for Career?? Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines

And the walkarounds etc. As far as I know the Kodiak will be brought to 2024 native standards after the Airvan is released. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

May 28, 20251 yr I contacted SWS about updating the Kodiak - 100. They said the installer could be directed to MSFS2024 and work just fine. However, I do also have it on the store. I did not encounter any problems with it, do others? So far I think there are much bigger problems, and aircrafts not working correctly at all, that needs much more attention. i9 RTX 4090 64gb ram

Yes, it is the bush challenge that is my concern, so here is my very simple test landing I use . The Kodiak fails (crashes) every time in ms2024. I invite you and all the responders to successfully make this landing: 1. Startup a flight at the south end of runway 33 at KFNL (in Colorado) with rudder trim centered. 2. Become airborne heading north above the runway and set flaps down fully preparing to land. 3. Slightly beyond the north end of the runway and to its left is a farm field green with grass. 4. Your assignment (should you choose to accept it) is to perform a short landing on that field. 5. Report your results.
