Recommended Posts

Bumped into this yesterday, should make life much easier. I won't miss having to keep track of the Working Title GPS mods,  and a bunch of aircraft mods I use as well.

It currently supports,

Quote
  • Working Title CJ4
  • Working Title G1000
  • Working Title G3000
  • Working Title G3X Touch
  • Flybywire A32NX (stable)
  • Heavy Division B78XH
  • Salty 747
  • Azgharie Airlines liveries
  • TheFrett G36 Project
  • JPLogistics C152
  • Pimarc PMS50 GNS530
  • SCS C208B
  • MixMugz TBM 930
  • Geoffda Cessna 182T

As far as I can tell you can add other Github projects,  but that's beyond me.

Unless they've changed it, the only thing that I do not like is everything has to be in  the same location to be "seen". I use MSAddon Manager and have my files arranged specifically so at least one is ignored.

I'm trying out using a Community Downloader folder under my main MSAddon folder to see if that's a workable solution, but obviously it's not as good as just being able to specify a separate folder for each project.

Main functionalities:

  • Add-on listing
  • Install / Update / Remove add-on
  • Community folder auto-detection
  • Add / Edit / Delete custom package
  • Import/Export custom package
  • Online repository of custom packages (community driven)
  • Enable/Disable packages to remove them from the listing
  • Be able to set a subfolder per package (for linker users)

Not sure?

The last entry could be a way to go. I'll have to research the latest version.
