Add-on freeware aircraft

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anyone help with an MSFS2020 problem ? I havew been trying to add free-ware aircraft to MSS2020. These aircraft come from Flightsim.to (which has loads of MSFS2020 add-ons and I have installed lots of UK scenery from them which all works perfectly. But nI have never been able to get any of their aircraft to actually appear in my ‘Hanger’.  After download and

unzipping I put the main aircraft folder into then MSFS2020 Community folder just like all the add-on scenery. The aircraft never show in the MSFS Hanger screen. I have even tried putting them into the MSFS2020Sim Objects folder. Still no show. I even tried changing the aircraft name by adding ‘Asobo_’ to the front of the aircrafts folder name in the hope that MSFS2020 would recognise it. That didn’t work. So, has anyone actually added freeware aircraft to MSFS202 and been able to use them ? If so will you share the secret ?

Best wishes.

Tony Volante.

More often than not the relevant folder is one or two levels down from the folder you download.

The community folder can only read the top level.

You want the folder that contains stuff like this

Agree. Perhaps he should provide a list of the aircraft he is attempting to use.  That will say much more.
