Screen black out

Featured Replies

So been awhile since I have used the sim.  About six months.  Today I decided to fire it up.  Performed all the updates and tried it out.  So when in the sim about every 2-3 minutes the screen blacks out.  In about 1-2 seconds the screens reappeared.  I can still here sound when this happens.  Thoughts?

any mods, if so, remove thsoe and try again.

drivers up to date?

a black screen is rare and usually point to drivers.

You might roll back a video driver version, if you've recently updated the video driver. It's been a while but I can remember a driver version that would black out for short time and not actually stop, which would throw an error. these I had wouldn't completely stop just black the screen for a few seconds.
