July 21, 20214 yr I have noticed when I flying the M20R Ovation and the PA44 Seminole, both Carenado a/c, that when adjusting the throttle, particularly when preparing to land, the engine rprm suddenly and erratically jumps to a very high level. (It only happens with the left engine with the Seminole.) It happens just about every time I touch the throttle and makes it very difficult to put the a/c into the right speed to land. This is very irritating and I am sure it is not representative of the real world. In real life I have only flown the Piper PA 28 warrior (two different training aircraft), and it certainly did not happen with them. Has anyone else noticed this. By the way, it is not an MSFS2020 issue: it doesn't happen with non-Carenado aircraft. July 21, 20214 yr Just tried out the Ovation and it seems ok to me. Reduced throttle till the alarm went off to put the wheels down all seems ok.
July 21, 20214 yr My Ovation has been OK. Using HC Bravo, but prior to January was using Saitek quadrants.
