July 30, 20214 yr It could be a ton of reasons, I would try again another day. It may be a poor implementation of the way they are throttling bandwidth or just overloaded servers. It could also be anything in the chain limiting your bandwidth. Some ISP's whitelist general browsing activity and may see certain # of requests as a sort of HTTP request spam, and they limit the bandwidth as it basically trigged a filter. There are numerous other reasons it might be happening. Are you sure you really get fast downloads from other download type sites, I mean running a speed test is one thing, but actually being able to download quickly is another. It is probably partly they are paying for some type of cheap bandwidth peering and certain routes tend to go down those cheaper more limited bottlenecks. AMD 5800x | Nvidia 3080 (12gb) | 64gb ram
July 30, 20214 yr Author This problem is driving me crazy ... I have an internet network which downloads with fiber at the speed of 400 Mbits / s When I use a download normally it is very fast !! except ! for MICROSOFT .. My comrades took 3h30 minutes to download the last update. Me ! it took me 3 days and 3 nights. (we started the download at the same time) Normally, I have a speed of 400 Mbits / s but only to download with Microsoft the speed drops between 2 and 4 Mbits / s whatever the time of day or night I'm bad at computers but I would like to understand that so annoys me. How Why Only with MICROSOFT
July 30, 20214 yr My download took about 6 hours and the outcome has caused me 3 days and 3 nights of grief so far. I thought I had a conflict with an addon, so have added and removed them in groups to see if I can identify the culprits. When I think I have and removed them, the sim seems to run OK, so I think "hey, thats the provlem solved". Then I run the sim later in the same state and it just crashes loading the flight. I've been tearing my hair out for days and I'm clearly not the only one. The hotfix looks like it may be a bit better, but I've not flown enough to be sure.
