August 3, 20214 yr Just got this program. I fly ifr a320 flights mimicking commercial flights in real life to the t. What’s a good setting for Rex? It defaults to 10 mins and 1 ms transition rate. Is that a good setting for my style of flights? I don’t understand the settings really I’d appreciate anyone sharing their settings that work for my style of flight. Thank you so much!
August 3, 20214 yr Ballpark around 8 miles per minute at m .78 and say FL350 depending on TAT. So 10 minutes would be about 80 miles distant. Sounds pretty good to me. I tend to use the persistent load option with set to 5 minutes. That sim will transition weather during the flight and not just in intervals. Slightly off topic, but since you're here I'll ask. Does REX Wx Force "cure" the lightening and thunder everywhere issue in MSFS? I honestly don't care if WX Force is based only on local METARs. If it stops "THOR the Obnoxious Thunder Lord" from making me watch and listen to "live" thunderbolts and lightening all...day...long in scattered clouds, I'll buy it. Rick Ryan

Whilst you are waiting for the Rex rep to answer your question may I answer? I have noticed, yes, it does stop the constant lightning.
