August 3, 20214 yr This is a posting where people get to freely review there experience with add ons for the community in XPlane (remember we prefer non descriptive reviews) a simple Yah or Nah is more than enough with what works well or does not.
August 3, 20214 yr .) Toliss A319, mostly to get what I believe to be one of the closest experiences in terms of flying an Airbus i a desktop flightsim. .) ASXP as a weather injector. Both payware. August 3, 20214 yr XPRealistic Pro v2 This addon is $35 at the "store". I provides for real cockpit feel, motions, sounds and more. It is similar to what Accu-feel did for FSX and P3D, except better by far. The head latency settings for take off, landing, taxing, banking are absolutely real like. There are 40 different effect, and each is custom adjustable for each plane in your hanger. For me this is an absolute MUST HAVE. Once you get it and use it, nothing else will do. The junky shaking stuff in MS is pathetic compared to this addon. Ultra Weather XP 2.62 This addon for me is a must have. It removes the need to find and install and play with FlywithLua scripts for Weather, clouds, water, waves, lighting, night lighting and tons more. It allows the flyer to change so many data refs on the fly and see the effects immediately that again, I can't do without this one. Actual cloud and sky colours require a reboot within the sim but all other factors can be adjusted to suit your needs and monitors with the tick of a button. If you do anything, get these two and you won't ever regret it. Couple this with ortho sceneries and quite frankly, I prefer this sim and these combo's over MS which I also own and fly. PLANES X-Aviation has many. I have a suite of them and while their licensing thing is a bit of a pain, these planes are superior and great for you hanger, but it depends on what type of flyer you prefer to be. August 4, 20214 yr X-Vision - makes the sky crisp and blue and the atmosphere less “foggy”. Orbx TrueEarth regions - nice orthoimagery with peoper tree placement and modeled POIs (I am an Orbx beta tester, but still love these) The JustFlight planes...the Pipers, the Hawk, and especially the Bae-146 The FlyJSim 727 and 737 Zibo 737-800 (FREE!) The Carenado Turbocommander 690 The Twin Comanche by Vflyte I have many more, but these are my favorites. P.S. I own all the sims including MSFS and P3Dv5, and XP11 is by far my favorite sim...just so smooth and crisp and wonderful.
