August 3, 20214 yr Commercial Member I started a flight, then hit Escape. I'm stuck in the options menu - how do I get back into my flight? Hitting escape again does nothing. Cheers! Luke Kolin I make simFDR, the most advanced flight data recorder for FSX, Prepar3D and X-Plane.

What is amazing is that every option in that bottom menu has a keyboard shortcut, except resume. Impressive UI design. Cheers! Like with a lot of inexplicable things that got changed, just why? The good news is this can be bound to the escape key once again, I have done it. It takes seconds. In keyboard settings, search for pause. I think it shows pause on and pause off. Only one will be bound to the escape key, the other one isn't. Simply bind it to the escape key as before. Might sound too harsh or like a bad joke, but that's why I call this the Rainman-Buckethead patch. They got creative with the settings (think Buckethead), but the results were more like Rainman.
