Featured Replies

Is it just me or?

I turned Icing off in the menus. (there is a option OFF now!)

And after a restart it is everywhere 19 degrees celcius at every altitude

Not true actually. It was always either icing on or visual only but the off feature came about a update or two ago. It wasn’t su5 it’s rather new to be able to turn it off entirely.

The option to turn it off has been there from the beginning since the beta last July. Maybe you guys need to pay attention more.

Uh no it wasn't. The only options at launch were 'On' or 'Visual only'. You can find a lot posts online about it before they added the off option, and notice how no one says there is an off option.

They added the completely 'off' option this year. Not with SU5, but I think with SU4. It was mentioned in the patch notes of whatever patch it was.

The only way to turn off the visual effect before that patch was to open developer mode and turn the icing slider to zero.

Ok it is not working! Ice everywhere now!

Also weird temperature behaviour was descending to warmer altitude and temperature changed from 4 to 16 degrees in a split second 🤔

In Justflight Piper now and Carb heat is not working after SU5 😛

That's been happening since shortly before SU5, there's just something bugged with the live weather right now.
