Engine Shutdown

Featured Replies

After the latest update as well as the hotfix (happened before and after), every time i am in the sim, esc to a menu to change settings, etc., and return back, my engines shut down and I can't turn them back on.  Anyone have this issue too?  thanks

No, it seems that you are victim of a double assignment.

How would that happen?  I just did a reinstall so this should be default settings.

Hi Zimmerbz,

Is this happening with all airplanes and every time? Do you have the Thrustmaster TCA Throttle?  Am wondering if it has to do with the on going issue widely reported on these forums that we have to delete the "Toggle Engine 1 Fuel Valve" and the "Toggle Engine 2 Fuel Valve". That's what worked for me, but I own a TCA Quadrant. Good Luck.

Sometimes a USB device can send spurious commands to MSFS. Try moving your USB devices to different connectors, it's a long shot but it sometimes helps.

Don't ask me why 😁 ! I saw some of my controller maps a bit in shambles after SU5...

I am using the Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog.  I'll try deleting per your suggestion.

Hi Zimmerbz,

Once you do that close MSFS & reboot. Sometimes tedious steps like this are what solve it for me.  If that doesn't work, I would add those 2 switches back to how it was before so that you don't have any other possible adverse reaction. Hope it works.
