Focus lost

Featured Replies

When the mouse cursor is parked out the screen to make the blasted toolbar invisible, the sim loses the focus  and the keyboard and the mouse become inactivated. Tapping a key does not work (like N to raise the flightplan window). I have to get the cursor back on screen along with the toll bar, click once on the screen and then the sim gets the focus back.

Am I alone ?

PS this is new, came with SU5

I have some sort of freeware addon that gets rid of the toolbar. No idea where I got it from though.

Thank you both, appreciated. I am not fond of mods. Not a philosophy (call it a pananoia 😋) but I have a weak computer which works not too badly with MFS (no CTD, no stutter) and I want to keep it that  way as long as I can. I add stuff in the Community folder drop by drop ! I think that when they forgot to re-install the auto-hide <sigh> they also botched the input device focus.

My toolbar in mFS2020 is not visible till I put the mouse up top and left click my mouse then it appears

It disappears automatically  but I have notices two things  when I move my mouse to my other screen and zoom in on Little nav map it also zooms my cockpit which is annoying

and secondly if I bring up the VFR map in MFs2020 and enlarge it and put it on the other screen nothing works in the cockpit of the aircraft or any of my panels  I cannot adjust the altitude or the VS  or the HDG until I put the map back on the mfs2020 screen and reduce it

Holy necro-post Batman🦇

@bd515 it's normal for those two behaviours to occur, however you shouldn't have to put the VFR map back - simply returning the mouse cursor to the MSFS screen should be enough to regain control.
