Hi!, I have got many problems with the sim after the SU5 like others had and I hope most people have had got them fixed with hot fix 2. Unfortunately, I could not update to any of the fixes after a lot of hassles.

 Now a very peculiar problem for me. Every time I launch the fs 2020 it goes up to the first picture screen {the rhinos and a ga aircraft) and it keeps looping and looping for I left it for hours - nothing happens

Since you can not cancel or close the launch , the sim can not be relaunch so I need to reboot the PC then launch the sim second time and it works. and I do get CTDs from time to time then it is really

very, very annoying. And one more thing thing is looks unusual to me, since MSFS2020 is a microsoft app.then why every time I launch it the security (account page) warning sign comes and need to 

confirm yes to start it 

Sounds very similar to what I was going thru at the end of July this year. Not sure if it was a Win10 update or my own stupidity but sometimes you just have to start over.

Reinstalled Win10 from latest Microsoft build then reinstalled MSFS 2020 thru the Microsoft Store. Really didn't do any flying until after HF2 installed and I'm not having the problems others here are describing. All my key bindings and yoke buttons/switches came back without losing anything.

All I lost was the P3Dv4 install with the zillions of dollars of scenery addons and other P3D specific utilities. After two weeks now I no longer miss it and have so far resisted the urge to look for the installer and order info.

 

I would not be surprised if these issues and CTDs are to do with the way the game is installed onto the windows system, I've never seen a game install into the locations this does so it's nothing like a regular installation to me.
