The second profile did the trick, thanks. I assigned one key for spoiler deployment and another one for the retraction. However I liked the default keyboard profile with its "/" default key assignment for just spoiler toggle prior to SU5. Now I hope that SU6 may fix the Cessna Longitude banking problem at cruise.

No idea when, or if, the default Longitude will be fixed, but in the meantime the Longitude mod by dakfly on flightsim.to takes care of the cruise dynamics.  It actually flies straight and level on autopilot.

Using the MSFS payware application addon called Axis and Ohs by Lorby (AAO), you can change easily the spoiler up down keys into a toggle. You can change the pause/resume dance to a toggle, like it used to be in MSFS using the escape key. You can change any 2 commands not just those to a toggle (or a sequence, a sequence is like push button once to jump to outside view, push it again to jump back to cockpit view).

Or you can make a controller button 'type' a keyboard letter. For instance that flightsim.to freeware that makes the text on the MSFS map smaller, or the cockpit tooltips a different size, makes the gauges in outside view appear or disappear, and makes the labels on the posts in the sky a different size: it works with keyboard keys because these are custom new features not in the controllers screen. But that is not a problem with AAO because you can assign keyboard presses to controller buttons.

Or you can make an axis work like a button. Say you have an old throttle quad you aren't using because you also have a newer one. You can assign the unused levers to buttons instead of axis. I think you can do the reverse too: make a button an axis up or axis down.

There are other easy to program custom features.

You can do complicated commands using scripts too. But that takes some study to accomplish.

It's as powerful as the old CH Control Manager used to be.
