DC Designs F-14 A/B Tomcat - Out Now

Featured Replies

just spent all morning watching youtube videos on the F14 and 1 of the many voices in my head kept telling me to buy, buy, buy.....so i went to justflight and decided to buy it.  My price was $31.39usd because i had a $3 credit😁  With the top gun update arriving this fall, the f14 will come in handy.  I just installed it and i'm off to fly and learn it....Maybe i'll do a low flyby combat maneuver over the inlaws house😆

Yep, just got it, good job DC Designs, flies well, FPS good, looks good, now need the boat.

i agree, i'm in-sim now and it really feels and looks great...it's perfect for msfs, especially with TopGun dlc arriving soon.  Great job dev!👍  it's raining in my area now and the f14 looks amazing all wet, rain drops over canopy, etc.  Flight Model also feels good, this F14 reminds me of the VRS F18 alittle.  So happy i changed my mind on buying it, i'm hooked now/addicted...or should i say i'm tailhooked lol.

Hi folks, as these are currently on sale on the Marketplace for the holiday period, I have posted on my YouTube channel a video showing the Tomcats off to give a better of idea of whether they're "right" or not for those interested, and also a better picture of the flight model in action.

Also, Happy Christmas and New Year to all Avsimmers! 🙂

I'm guessing the marketplace versions are missing ordnance? Any chance of a sale at JustFlight? 🙂

JF tend to do their sales in January I think, so maybe worth keeping an eye open for a bargain there.

Wilco 🙂
Which is the best add-on carrier for the Cat do you think?

I couldn't say really, I only own the one and it works well - the HDS carrier pack.

Not quite correct.  Our seasonal sale started before Christmas and ends tomorrow.  The Tomcat wasn't included though.  Usually we look to have something on sale from our site for a minimum of six months prior to discounting it.  The Tomcat just missed out on that.  Easter could be a prime time for a sale on that one though.

The F-14 Tomcats were recently updated with improved textures and many more liveries, and I made this video to both showcase the airplanes and also to promote the forthcoming "Wings Over The Web" on-line airshow, which will be streamed by the Official Microsoft MSFS Twitch channel on May 22nd.

Display sequence was filmed yesterday during normal practice over NAS Pensacola, Florida, USA. The display is flown "crowd left", but will be "crowd right" at WOTW. Great fun flying this sort of thing in VR 🙂
