August 23, 20214 yr When you use the cursor in cockpit view, the ai takes control of flying the plane and the flight controls are disabled.

August 23, 20214 yr I believe it is more for the mode where the white circle is visible ... Like using a contoller to pan the cockpit or to use a control, it is for those using 1 controller for all inputs eg game pad. I turned it off after 1 flight in SU5 along with any other settings brought in to assist xbox players. Turn it off and leave it off.
