August 25, 20214 yr I recently re-installed everything on my SSD and now, when I open FSX-SE, it also opens the FSX folder in Windows Explorer. Although it's not a big deal, it's not supposed to do that so I wonder if anyone has any ideas about preventing it. I have Windows 10 64 bit. Dugald Walker

Or with a Windows shortcut to that file? If a shortcut, check its properties. August 25, 20214 yr Author I have a shortcut to fsx.exe. What should I look for in Properties. In case it's different, I also opened using the link under Steam in the Start menu. It did the same thing. I don't know any other way. Dugald Walker
September 2, 20214 yr Any shortcut you have for FSX, open the properties and look at the target line Mine looks like this: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\fsx.exe See if there is anything after fsx.exe the above shortcut was created by me, but my shortcut that steam made has a URL line and it looks like this steam://rungameid/314160
