August 25, 20214 yr Hi, I have this weird sound on the Learjet which I downloaded from Flysimware and installed just yesterday. I did a google search and checked the manual but could not find a solution. I'm using Windows 10 and the latest version of P3D v4. I have RXP's GTN and GNS, OpusFSI, REX Weather Advantage installed in P3D v4 but I have yet to install them in the Lear. Pausing, muting (q), changing to an external view, and selecting Shift-1's 'All Systems Off' does nothing. The only way I can mute the sound is by selecting another aircraft. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DppyeynZTfo Thank you. Edited August 25, 20214 yr by bofhlusr Added details. Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).
August 25, 20214 yr I have not seen this reported before, so something strange is going on. Try loading the default F-35 first, and then switch to the Lear and see what happens. The default F35 does a good job of initializing the sim variables. And of course, you could try uninstalling and reinstalling the Lear as a last resort. Al Edited August 26, 20214 yr by ark

Can you list all the Flysimware aircraft you own? And what was the last product you installed. Some how the Lear is calling to a sound file we have in the sound pack but that sound is a sound that is not called at all. So the only way to solve this is to know all the products and what was installed last. That way can do some more research.
August 26, 20214 yr Author I have Flysimware's Falcon 50 and the Learjet 35c (which I downloaded and installed the night before yesterday). This might be a moot point though: I went ahead and uninstalled and re-installed the Learjet, and all is well now. I didn't want to take away your time (hopefully) developing business jets for MSFS. 🙂 I never figured out what the sound issue was. It's a weird sound. Weirdest of all, the sound wouldn't stop even if I paused (p) or muted (q) P3D. It sounded like a warning sound of some sort. Thank you for the quick reply. Al I forgot to mention in my original post that based on the advise you had for some other issue on the Flysimware Falcon 50, I've since then always loaded the default F-22. Would that make a difference with the F35 in terms of initializing the sim variables? Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. But if everything seems to working well for you with the default F-22, fine. As they say, "If it ain't broke, ..... Al
August 27, 20214 yr Author No reason for me to re-invent the wheel. I'll change to the F35. Thank you. Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).
