Or the recent JEDI contracts cancellation. Or the years of precedent in these situations. This isn't new, just look at the US Military Tanker competition that is ongoing right now. True of course, but lawsuits in those cases are brought about when there's a reasonable chance of winning. Experts are saying there wasn't in Bezos case. Not sure about his Starlink complaint. After loosing the case re the NASA contract, Bezos then offered to give NASA a 2 billion discount if they switched the contract to him. 😂 Edited August 30, 20214 yr by martin-w

Look into the amount of lawsuits in the tech industry, Also by FAR not the first company to drop their pants after losing a deal to either A. win it back or B. hit the competition in the wallet by forcing them to drop their price as well. This is really a daily occurrence and standard practice in the corporate world. Not sure why you are so focused on Bezos. Remember, there are a TEAM of lawyers behind these lawsuits and decisions. This isn't Jeff vs Elon as the press has turned it into. It's two competing space programs. People lose track of that as we can see here. We've never spoken about "Guillaume vs Dave" in court have we? No, it's Boeing vs Airbus. For some reason this has been personalized to villainize an individual and is now "Jeff vs Elon" because people are so enamored with the two protagonists massive wealth. Just because others do it, doesn't make it right for Bezo's (and his lawyers - on his behalf) to do it. 3 hours ago, psolk said: This isn't Jeff vs Elon as the press has turned it into. Yes it is ultimately. They are the heads of the companies in question. Just as its Boeing v Airbus or any other corporations involved in a two way dispute and its the heads of those companies that have ultimate power to agree to those lawsuits going forward or not. And the topic of conversation in this thread is Blue Origin filing lawsuits against SpaceX with the intent of sabotaging SpaceX's progress in getting mankind to the Moon. You see, this is an important endeavour for the human race, not just a few more million for a company, hence why this is more important than just two companies engaging in legal wrangling's.. 3 hours ago, psolk said: We've never spoken about "Guillaume vs Dave" in court have we? The reason we don't utter those two names is because most people haven't heard of them, if they had, we would. Me thinks you are taking this topic too seriously. 🙂 Edited August 30, 20214 yr by martin-w
