Is a version with the voices in French planned?

thank you

I could record a French voice set, but I don't think it would go down very well with my native French speaking users.

Unlike the old FS2Crew's, the sound files are publicly accessible in folders in the MSFS versions.

If you want a pure French version, it would just be a matter of rounding up some French people and recording your voice over top of the existing sound files.

It would take some work, but it's more than do-able.

But you'd need to coordinate it.

In Pushback Express, we had pure French, German and Spanish options.

But in PBE, there aren't many sound files, so it was easy for me manage.

But FBW, has 10 times as many sound files, so it would need to be done by a dedicated team of native speakers.

That would be great.  All you need to do is find a French friend and record over the pre existing sound files.

It's very easy, and you could test it live.

For Voice Recognition, it would just be a matter of translating the grammar file into French.

Like with the recordings, that would need to be done by a native French speaker who knows proper French aviation words.

Can try to record over the pre-existing files. I don't know if a friend could help me, but at least I could record one 🙂

Will try and tell you if this works out !

Hey.

It’s still a pity not to have a French version of FS2CREW A32NX, because I also have PBE and after passing the voice recognition in English-US, I can no longer use French for PBE voice commands...

French is a bit the big loser, it is a pity for a pioneer country in aviation and whose language is one of the official languages of ICAO.

It is legitimate to ask the question: Why German and not French?

To finish on a less demanding note, thank you for your addons and the work you do.

Best Regards

The German crew in FS2Crew is speaking English but with a German accent,

As I mentioned above, if you want a pure French version (or even pure German or pure Spanish), it's very do-able technically but it's the kind of thing that would need to be created and managed by a team of native speaking volunteers who can self organize.

In PBE I could pull off native French because the amount of recording is quite small and the voice grammar file is quite small - and even then it was tough for me.

But FBW has 10X as many sounds files and the voice grammar file is very large in comparison to PBE.

So, again, if you want pure French, round up some friends and I can pass along the instructions.  But I'm not a native French speaker, so I can't manage the project.  My French isn't good enough for nuances and aviation technical terms, etc - the skills you'd need to have for such a project.

Hey.

Meilleures salutations

Hello

I agree with you we cannot use PBE and A32nx FS2Crew correctly with voice commands I find it a shame

If you want to use PBE Voice and FBW Voice, you'll need to use English.

PBE can't be in French and FBW in English due to the Speech Recognizer conflict (must be same language selection)

Again, if you want pure French for FBW, I need a native speaking French volunteer who can organize the French production.
