Sound Settings

I want all the engine noises and such to come through my speakers.  I want voice to  come through my headset.  In P3D this worked fine.  In MSFS I have set my system playback device to the speakers and in P2A sound output is set to the headset.  However, all sound comes through the speakers. I find the sound settings in MSFS to be completely baffling.

What settings do I need to get only voice to the headset and the rest to the speakers.

Tom,

If you have P2A sound output to your headset, then your P2A voice sounds should be going there.  If you're getting voice from the speakers, either they are MSFS voices or the P2A setting somehow changed to the speakers.

I would check the Windows settings for the names of your sound output devices and be sure they are not confused.  Also, check to see what the default sound output device is as P2A will default to that if there is a problem using the one specified in Config.
