Failed license activation

Featured Replies

Hello fellow simmers, I seem to have an issue I can't figure out. I did a search in the forums with 0 results. Pilot2atc has been working great. I just added a new 2 TB nvme ssd and now I get an error that says license validation failed: already activated on another machine. Nothing was changed except for adding the new drive. It has a deactivate button but I am afraid to click it for fear of completely losing the license. Any ideas? Flying without it really sucks. TIA

Version 2.6.2.3 has a new license management system that will allow you to reset the Activation yourself if you need to make any changes to your PC.

The FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS ARE FOR REGISTERED USERS ONLY

When you start P2A the first time after installing the update, you should see an Activate button and a Deactivate button. (If you don't see those buttons, press the Register button and they should appear. )

Enter your PayPal email and press the Deactivate button.

Assuming the Deactivation works, press the Activate button. That should start the program.

If all goes well, you should not see this license window again.

Let me know at [email protected] if you have any problems getting it going.

Just click it you will be fine, I had the same issue recently and hadn't even changed anything other than updating P2ATC. It worked great for me, no more having to email Dave anymore when changing stuff 🙂

Cheers, Andy.

Thanks for the replies. Hitting the deactivate and then the activate button solved the issue
