How to show AI aircraft and ships

Featured Replies

I have explored both help and the various options on the bar...but I still can not find how to turn on the AI aircraft ON.

What am I missing?

Enable them in the connection dialog.

And then it depends on simulator, online network, traffic add-on and other factors if something is shown or not.

I'm curious about this. In MSFS I have AI boats added also have them at max in settings. Was flying over Lake Erie - LNM showed several boats, I flew over them but none were visible in MSFS.  The aircraft were visible when closer than 8 miles.

So, LNM is getting the data from the sim but the sim decides not to display them, correct?

Seems so. I did not try AI ships yet. Have to check.

Do you use a ship traffic add-on?

Alex

Yes, I use Henrik's freeware. I generally see them in major ports. I think MSFS has some serious work to do on the AI situation.

The problem I have is that "show Simulator AI and multiplayer ship position and data on map" is greyed out along with a whole lot of others. Yesterday when I started little Navmap it was set in a dark mode. Today it is in a light mode with out any changes made by me. Yes, I have Neilsons Global Ship traffic (GAIST MSFS V2) in my community folder and I also loaded the scenery folder.

I must be missing something.
