CJ4 speedbrakes binding not effective

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I did a full re-install of the Sim today.

I have assigned the 'Toggle Speedbrakes' on the CJ4 to a button on my Thrustmaster Warthog joystick.

However this binding is not working. The speedbrakes do come up if I use the speedbrake lever in the cockpit.

Any ideas how to resolve

Thanks

Try SPOILERS_TOGGLE?

For controller I had to use a button to engage the spoiler and one button to retract.

A pilot is always learning and I LOVE to learn.

Yes, the only way I have found to do it was the same, to have one command to extend, one to retract.  I have them mapped on my keyboard so I have more options than a controller would.

The speed brake toggle is also not working in the Mooney.

I did what others have done, assign one button for extending the speed brakes and another for retracting. It works.

I have since found that I can assign the grey INCR/DECR lever on the Thrustmaster WARTHOG HOTAS to the Toggle Spoilers command - seems to work quite nicely now and the actual motion is very realistic

Thanks all for responding on this

It's a command that's in Simconnect.  Not sure if it's shown in the sim.  I use SPAD to get to it.
